A real-world event for the massively popular smartphone game "Pokémon GO" kicked off in Nagasaki City on November 7th. The area around JR Nagasaki Station is bustling with "Trainers" who have gathered from all over the globe.

A previous Pokémon GO real-world event, held in Fukuoka, reportedly generated an economic impact of approximately 4.2 billion yen. The event in Nagasaki will run for three days until November 9th, and it is reported that accommodation facilities in the city are almost fully booked for the duration.
