■ガザから世界へ「私たちを人間として扱ってほしい」

取材中、ガザ地区にいる母親のワファさんと電話がつながりました。

・金子記者
「今難しいことは？（What’s the hardest thing now？）」

・モハメドさんの母親
「私たちは戦車や軍隊に囲まれていて、今、外に出たとしたら、爆撃によって死亡するかもしれない。食料も支援からしか得られない。（We are surrounded by tanks and army．There is no food or any other source for the food except the aid）」

記者の私は、なにも助けられない自分に情けなさを感じました。

我々になにができるかと、母親に問いかけました。

「世界へのメッセージは？（Does she have a message for the world？）」

・モハメドさんの母親
「私たちを人間として扱ってほしい。停戦のために助けてほしい（I hope that the world consider us like human and we have value and help us for a ceasefire）」
