The 5th station was bustling with many tourists both from Japan and overseas.
"It's a wonderful view," commented a tourist from the United States. A Japanese visitor added, "I wanted to see it closer, so I came all the way up here," while another said, "I feel like I can get an amount of energy from it."
A tourist who arrived by motorcycle with friends remarked, "It's still cold."
A couple who had been unable to reach the 5th station last year shared their story: "Last year, when we were about to pay at the tollgate, they told us, that's too bad. We have waited for this for a year, so we definitely wanted to come."
