A Sustain Effort for Everyone's Benefit

About a week duringthe cherry blossom season, no major incidents have been reported. However, the city plans to strengthen its measures to ensure both tourism and the safety of its residents can coexist.
"We are considering paid admission as one option," Mr. Funakubo stated. "We are not limiting ourselves to that and will consider comprehensive measures such as dispersing visitors by location and time, and improving the environment for receiving visitors."

The search continues for a way to leverage a world-class view for tourism while protecting the community, requiring residents and officials to work together to shape the future of their town.
