A couple from Spain noted the long wait, saying, "Maybe two hours, after we go out ,the queue is longer."

The observation deck operates on a five-minute rotation system for visitors, but the wait can be as long as three hours. From the city below, a long queue of people climbing up to the deck was clearly visible.
"During the blooming season, the wait for the viewing deck can be one to three hours, and the surrounding roads can also get congested, so we'd like people to be aware of this in advance," said Naoya Funakubo of the Fujiyoshida City Mt. Fuji Division.
